The basic configuration of the Transporter Kombi is equipped with front-wheel drive and two 2-liter engines - gasoline (115 hp) and diesel (84 hp), both are equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. As an option, the Transporter Kasten can be equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 204 hp. paired with a 6-speed “mechanics”, as well as three 2-liter “diesels” with a capacity of 102, 140 and 180 hp. (the first is available with a manual 5-speed gearbox, the last two are equipped with a 6-speed “mechanics”). You can also optionally install an automatic 7-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive with a mechanical differential lock.
The car has two options for the length of the wheelbase. In the short-base configuration, it is possible to install one or two rows of seats. The front row offers a double seat with an armrest or a triple seat with folding seats. In the second row, you can additionally put a triple seat with double folding. In the long base configuration, one, two or three rows of seats can be installed. In the front row, the seat options are the same as in the short base version. In the second row, you can install a double seat or a triple seat with an armrest. It is also possible to install a triple seat in the third row.
