Volkswagen Tiguan  - front- or all-wheel drive mid-size crossover. Unlike its main competitor Nissan Qashqai for Volkswagen Tiguan on the Ukrainian market, not only gasoline, but also diesel engines are offered. In particular, a 2-liter 140-horsepower unit with a peak torque of 320 Nm. The diesel engine is only available for all-wheel drive versions, which use a six-speed Tiptronic automatic as transmission.

The most affordable version of the Volkswagen Tiguan is a front-wheel drive modification with a 122-horsepower 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a six-speed "mechanics". Despite the lack of an all-wheel drive system in this version, the crossover has good off-road characteristics - a 20-centimeter ground clearance, and as an option, you can order an off-road body kit that increases the angle of entry from 17 to 25 degrees due to the new front bumper.

Also, the range of gasoline engines includes another modification of a 1.4 liter engine with a capacity of 160 hp. and a 2-liter unit, the power of which, depending on the version, varies from 170 to 210 hp. For these power plants, a 4Motion all-wheel drive system is available, as well as a six-speed automatic. Models with a preselective DSG dual-clutch robotic gearbox are not yet delivered to Ukraine.
