Description Volkswagen Touareg II (2010-2015)

Volkswagen Touareg - debuted in the early 2000s and became, in fact, the first crossover in the history of the brand. Now the second generation of the model presented in 2010 is available on the Ukrainian market, during the development of which a lot of time was devoted to improving efficiency. Compared to its predecessor, the new Touareg has become almost 200 kilograms lighter. The range of Volkswagen Touareg engines includes six- and eight-cylinder engines - two petrol and two diesel. Gasoline units include engines of 3.6 (V6, 280 hp) and 4.2 liters (V8, 360 hp). Diesel engines are a 245-horsepower 3-liter V6 and a 340-horsepower 4.2-liter V8. For all engines, only an eight-speed automatic transmission is provided.

The standard equipment of the Volkswagen Touareg includes an all-wheel drive system with a self-locking center differential, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, cruise control, an electronic parking brake, an 8-speaker multimedia system with the ability to connect external devices via the AUX connector, front and side airbags , anti-blocking brakes, course stability, anti-slip control, stabilization of movement with a trailer. Options include three-zone climate control, a 10-speaker multimedia setup with an amplifier and the ability to connect an iPhone/iPad and other external devices via Bluetooth or USB and AUX jacks.

Also available for the Volkswagen Touareg is an adaptive air suspension that allows you to increase the standard 20 cm ground clearance to 30 centimeters, as well as many additional packages that allow you to customize the exterior and interior. Upon closer examination, the competitors of the crossover will be its co-platformers - Audi Q7 And Porsche Cayenne, from which the Volkswagen Touareg primarily differs in a more affordable cost.

Volkswagen Touareg is produced at the Slovak plant in Bratislava.
