A robotic seven-speed DSG dual-clutch box, which for an ordinary motorist will practically not differ from an automatic machine, is offered for more powerful gasoline engines - an 85-horsepower naturally aspirated 1.4-liter engine, as well as a 105-horsepower turbocharged 1.2-liter unit .

As an alternative to gasoline engines, a 1.2-liter TDI diesel engine with direct injection and supercharging is offered on the Ukrainian market. Engine power is 75 hp and maximum torque is 180 Nm. Transmission - only five-speed "mechanics".

Volkswagen Polo exists in three- and five-door versions. Also, the model has a crossover modification - Volkswagen CrossPolo, which is distinguished by an off-road body kit and a clearance increased by 15 millimeters. The ground clearance of the usual "civilian" versions of the Polo is 13 cm.

"Polo" is built on a universal platform, so the model has to compete not only with classmates, among which Citroen C3, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai i20, Mazda2, Opel Corsa And Peugeot 208, but also with their co-platformers - SEAT Ibiza And Skoda Fabia.
