The interior of the new Polo hatchback is Volkswagen-style strict, although it is not devoid of original elements: the center console is turned towards the driver, the media system display with a diagonal of 6.5 to 8.0 inches is placed in the center, and as an additional option, the initially gray interior can be decorated with bright inserts. And in the sixth generation, the VW Polo for the first time acquired a virtual dashboard with an electronic tachometer, speedometer, as well as total and daily mileage counters. Such a system is installed on top-end vehicles - the driver can change the design of the scales, switch to the digital speed display mode and duplicate the navigation system map.

In addition to the standard Trendline, Comfortline and Highline equipment levels, which differ in basic equipment sets and design “accents”, the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo has a special version of Beats. It features alloy wheel designs, roof and hood decals, custom center console and door cards, BeatsAudio branded door sills, and Beats 6-speaker acoustics with 8-channel digital amplifier and subwoofer.

In the basic configuration, the new Polo offered 8 airbags, an automatic braking system with pedestrian recognition, air conditioning, a media system with a touchscreen display, a height-adjustable driver's seat, power windows for all doors, air conditioning, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors and a rollback system. The list of options, depending on the configuration, may include: LED headlights, climate control, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, heated front seats, fog lights with turning light, rear view camera, parking assistant and other equipment. In addition, cars for the Ukrainian market have a suspension with reinforced elements for bad roads.

In some European markets, the sixth-generation Volkswagen Polo powertrain range is represented by 1.0-liter gasoline engines with 65, 75, 95 and 115 hp, a 1.5-liter TSI turbo four with 150 hp, and a 1.6 diesel engine. l (80 and 95 hp). In addition, a version with factory HBO (methane) and a new power unit 1.0 TGI  90 hp And the “hot” modification of the GTI received a 2.0-liter “turbo four” with a return of 200 hp. Transmissions: 5- and 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG.

The following engines and transmissions are provided for the Ukrainian market:

• gasoline "aspirated" 1.0 MPI (75 hp, 95 Nm). Combined with a 5-speed "mechanics". Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 14.9 seconds, combined cycle consumption of 4.1 l / 100 km;
• gasoline turbo engine 1.0 TSI with direct injection (95 hp, 175 Nm). Available with 5-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch DSG. Acceleration 0-100 km / h for such hatchbacks takes 10.8 seconds, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle according to the passport is 4.4 - 4.6 l / 100 km, respectively;
• petrol turbo engine 1.0 TSI (115 hp, 200 Nm). Works in tandem with a 7-speed "robot" DSG. Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 9.5 seconds, consumption in the combined cycle - 4.7 l / 100 km.
