Volkswagen Polo Sedan - one of the leaders in the segment of the so-called "budget sedans" since the introduction of the model in 2011 on the market. Built on a hatchback Volkswagen Polo the fifth generation, but in addition to the body type, it differs from the original with an increased wheelbase from 2470 to 2553 mm, a line of engines, as well as other suspension and steering settings. The increase in center distance has a positive effect on the space in the legs of the rear passengers, in addition, the volume of the trunk has increased from 280 to 460 liters. Ground clearance is 163 mm.

In May 2015 Volkswagen introduced restyled Polo Sedan with modified bumpers, new lighting, radiator grille, hood shape and an expanded list of options. Then there were changes in the engine range - the updated model is offered exclusively with four-cylinder gasoline engines, which are paired with mechanical, automatic or robotic gearboxes:

• 1.6 MPI with 90 hp and a maximum torque of 155 Nm, combined with a 5-speed "mechanics". Acceleration 0-100 km / h - 11.2 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 5.7 l/100 km.
• 1.6 MPI with 110 hp and a maximum torque of 155 Nm, combined with a 5-speed "mechanics" and a 6-speed "automatic". In the first case, the 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 10.4 seconds and the combined cycle consumption is 5.8 l/100 km. The sedan with automatic transmission accelerates to “hundreds” in 11.7 seconds and consumes an average of 5.9 l / 100 km.
• 1.4 TSI with 125 hp and a maximum torque of 200 Nm, combined with a 6-speed "mechanics" and a 7-speed "robot" DSG. In both cases, 0-100 km/h takes 9 seconds and fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 5.7 l/100 km.

Polo Sedan is available in Life (for corporate customers), Trendline, Comfortline and Highline trim levels. The basic version is equipped with frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger, ABS, height-adjustable driver's seat, front and rear power windows, air conditioning and central locking. The steering column is adjustable for tilt and reach, and there is a full-size spare tire in the trunk.

In more expensive versions, the Polo Sedan is equipped with electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats and a multimedia system. Heated windshield, small leather package (steering wheel, parking brake lever and gear selector), front armrest, fog lamps with cornering light and chrome package are available. In addition, the list of additional options includes side airbags, cruise control, ESC, interior floor lighting and tinted rear windows, rain and light sensors, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, front and rear parking pilot and other equipment.
